Thanks for the compliment, Skipper. The Nappa leather option appears in the 2003 Canadian pricelist and is priced at CDN$1,130. It seems this option is not listed in the MBUSA website, but somehow is available in Canada. Muhri and I would recommend this option.

wow...

i'm jealous of all you guys! nice mods to your "E" though! Just got those pedals for my "C." I heard that you can put the entire pedal set from the new SL to match teh E Brake. (difference is with the ovals and circles. ovals on the e-brake) can anyone verify this?

Sports Pedal Pads

Lyrixmajor, you will need to order the following parts through your MB P&A department for the sports pedals:

1. # 1-170-300-01-04 PEDAL

2. # 1-170-290-01-82 PAD

3. # 1-230-430-00-84 PAD

These parts fitted on my E500 with no problems. The dealer charged me 1.5 Hrs of labor to install. You could install the brake and foot brake pads yourself as they just snap on and off. However, I would let them do the gas pedal because of liability/safety issues.

No, you don't need to order the first one. That is for the entire accelerator assembly. For the SLK style pad, you can just simply order the pad. The part number for that is:

170-300-00-04

It should only cost around $15. The part you have listed costs around $150.

lyrixmajor, the part numbers you have in this thread:

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/79131-slk-amg-pedals-e-class.html

are correct.

Tell us again where you got them and the cost.

The wheels and the rest are just outstanding.

Ed
Thanks Ed for all your compliments. Yes, you are right about my asking Enrique about the sports pedals! I got them from the MB Parts Department. Sorry, I can't access the paperwork for prices right now as I have them packed away. We are preparing to move; bought a new place.

However, your local MB dealer should be able to help you. the correct part numbers are listed in preceding post. Cheers!

Yes, on Tuesday, they are charging me $53CDN to install the steering wheel. 1/2 hour labour.
