I notched out the bezel around the guages and tucked this thing in there. Not much space to work with, but turned out okay.

The unit itself is up on the passenger side headliner and remains dark

I would have preferred to hide the remote display behind the cluster lens, but there is no room.
Next I'm going to try to wire the V1 to an E55 steering wheel and use the non-functioning paddles as a mute switch. I'll update later if successful.

very clean install. did you change the lights on the display to different colors? looks so in the pics but i may be wrong

Yep. you're right. The display has colored LED's and was modified so that the cord exits the back instead of the side.

I had it for a few years. I think I got it on Ebay or from a forum member on radardetector dot net.

Some dude takes a regular concealed display and changes out the LEDs to the colors of your choosing.
