In order for the facelifted e63 bumper to fit, he'll need all new bumper reinforcements along with the new style grille.

Car looks good.

No, he doesn't need new bumper reinforcements, well at least I didn't need one for my conversion . And yes you'll need the bigger face lifted grille.

i have every thing for the conversion ( even the facelift grill) non distronic, and also the facelift hood lacht (longer) the onlything missing is the fogs and fog mesh or grills, i just going to go with the ovals and the oval mesh, i boght everything for the conversion that apears in the list exept the reinforcements
becouse i never foung that part on any web site, and also im planning on filling the side markers on my bumper, here in nicaragua we get the european version with no side markers on the bumper, all work is being done in an audi workshop (mercedes dealers suck here they wont update my command, and when they did dvd stop working, a tried to charge me 2,500 us$ for the sbc when they were suppose to change it for the recall and all i had to do was change the brake switch under the steering wheel )so im better of with this forum than my dealer all parts are new exept the bumper ! the bumper was oem but used had couple of scratches and is being fixed , i need hid for my fog any recomendation? i want 12 000k and no errors

Just look around and make sure that the hid kit should have the same watts and voltage as the normal halogen bulb and there shouldn't be any errors.
Have a look at the sticky for the correct wattage, voltage and installation.

Are you thinking of changing the boot chrome strip to a bigger face lifted version?

Looking really good. By the title of the thread though, I'm not sure if you're aware but that's not an E63 bumper, it's the Sport version. Very nice upgrade though

The only difrence is the openings on the side! Anyways it was 2 agresive 4 my taste and all other parts are from the e63 from parts.com oem, the bumper was used from ebay, and had to fill the sidemarker holes, i get what your trying to say but as i said there is only one difrence in the bumper and everythind fits on both bumper the same, all grills fogs , mesh grills chrome strip , aNd headlight washer, and for 150 $ i think its as good as e63

Actually, in addition to the side openings, the E63 center mesh is slightly larger than the Sport. Also the fog light mesh is larger as well as shaped differently. The fog lights on the E63 are round vs. oval on the Sport and are placed more outwardly. Internal supports may be different also because of the shape of the bumper. So hopefully you didn't order these parts according to E63 part numbers. Chrome strips and washer covers will work.

I think the Sport bumper looks great, I'm just hoping someone didn't tell you the parts are interchangeable.

I just came from the shop( audi workshop) and the center mesh fits perfectly and its a e63 amg center mesh( bottom) and i had the fog mesh( e63) from dealer and it fits perfectly 2, i went with the sport becouse it was cheaper and had both parts fog and fog mesh but its the sports , and my dealer only had the fog mesh and had to wait 1 month for the fogs, also took the inner reinforsment from the old bumper and it fits perfectly to the new one! The car should be ready by tomorrow, maybe you can help me with my hid. I replace my bulb d2s and one seems more bluish than the oder? What can be wrong? Ballast? Igniter? Thanks!
