Sold - 05' E55
These should be standard equipment on the cars. Perfect match - no more yellow DRL. They where easy to install, and no blinking or codes coming up on the cluster.
I went with the 5000k and they match the HID headlights quite well.
Money well spent -
Thanks AZN Optics

Not sure if I should get 5000k or 8000k... I have 6000k in the headlights. Will have to look carefully tonight and decide.

If I have the factory Halogen Headlights, which would fit best (match light beam) for you LED city light bulbs the 8K or 5K?

So still no other bulbs available correct for the W211, only the City / Driving Lights ??

Thanks

To be honest, if you're not looking to swap out your factory halogens, I'd recommend against swapping the LED city lights as it'll just make stock halogens look even more ugly yellow in comparison to the white city lights. If you're looking to upgrade to HIDs, or even whiter bulbs like Philips Diamond Visions, then these LEDs are a great option.

If you still want to go through with it, then 5000K would be closer to your temp range so I'd go with those over 8000K.

Update on turn signal:

Just got my live test 3457 turn signal and having issues with them on my test w204 vehicle. I want to test it on a w211 and see if it's a unique attribute to w204 that's causing it to not function properly. So here's the deal...I'm looking for someone local to socal (OC/LA) to test them out. If they work for you, you can have them for free...just need to take a video of them working. If they don't, then I'll need them for more R&D. First person to PM me taking this offer gets the opportunity.

W211 uses 1156 not 3457, unless you have a harness for 3457, I think they are all universal, my w211 actually has 2357's

Ok, I'm having my engineer whip me out a test set of 1156 then as it appears there are other mercedes models which also use 1156 if they don't have bi-xenon apparently. I'm also going to get a set of 1157 which should replace 2357. Is the bixenon difference the reason why some 211s have 1156 and some have 2357?
