These LEDs are rated for 10,000 hours, give or take when properly installed. If you don't install correctly and over insert these, you're looking at 1-3 months before the solder gets completely compromised. With a bit of initial care installing, should last you the life of the car.

Interested in picking up a set of the LED festoon bulbs for my w211.

Whats the difference between the 36, 39, and 41mm?

Im also looking for something to replace my oem fogs.

the difference is the length. I believe I heard that w211 rear plate festoon is 39mm, but you'll want to double check that. Probably posted somewhere on the forum. If you open up the rear plate light and put a measuring tape between the connector clips and take a pic I can figure out for you.

As for fogs, you'll want to go HID. My HID kit is ready, but just wrapping up some final testing with the error canceller.

Edit: Just found several threads on w211 that confirms your rear plates are 39mm. Also found out your interior footwell ambient lights are also 39mm.

We'll be getting what we hope to be the final version of our error canceller in the next couple weeks along with a couple HID kits (35w H7 and H11 in 5000K) for evaluation. All goes well, then we'll go in full production. We've already tested and did live testing with our HID kits which work good. Just verifying our error cancellers pass muster

I believe your sidemarkers on w211 are also 194, it's just a matter of if you have enough clearance length wise. Mine are 30mm, with about 23mm exposed after plugged in.
