Sync between COMAND and Instr Display
I have 03 E500 upgrade to 05 COMAND, BT, VR, iPod electronics
I believe COMAND software is current - Applied W211 589 15 22 00 Service Last August.
I notice that when changing
a) SIRIUS channels from MF Steering Wheel or from COMAND Head Unit
OR
B) Between audio input modes e.g., from SIRIUS to AUX (iPod)
The head unit reflects change immediately but instrument cluster update is delayed (1-3 min or so).
I can force instrument cluster update by cycling power on head unit but that does not really address issue.
Problem is intermittent. Could this be a weak Aux battery issue?
