COMAND keeps restarting over and over
Hey guys -
I'm pretty new here so I probably look like a fool for this... just got my first Mercedes three days ago.
My COMAND system was working fine, but the 2005.3 disc (BQ 6 46 0209) was scratched and so my Nav wasn't working. I purchased the 2008 disc on eBay (BQ 6 46 0232). Put it in and started the car.
Now my COMAND keeps restarting over and over. Loads for one minute, then resets. Can't turn it off or keep it off. Took the 2008 disc out and it still does this.
I think I messed up because I needed to do firmware upgrades in a certain order, is that correct? How do I fix this problem? The car is still under warranty so I can take it to a dealer, but I would rather try and fix the problem on my own first.
Can anyone help me?
