Service manual DVD would not play
I just purchased the service manual DVD and it would not play with Windows 7. The Whip4 file, viewer, would not install from the DVD. MBUSA was of no help and the STARTEK site had a workaround for VISTA that did not work either. I finally found the the WHIP4.exe file on the Mercedes site, loaded it over the internet and all is well, if anyone runs into the same issue.

It woud have been nice if you had provided a link to the file you downloaded. Also, are you running the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Win 7?

The problem I am having is that Whip4 will not install in Win 7 64 bit OS. Not even in XP Compatibility Mode with Administrator privileges. Is therre a work around????

Go back to MB website that lists the dvd's. There is link to download the file needed to run on 64bit machine. I had been running mine under XP mode for 2 years and now it works under Win 7.
