odometer questions
Hey all I just picked up a 2005 E320 CDI like 3 weeks ago. It currently has 127 016kms on it. Canadian Car.
I finally got around to checking it over in depth at work. The car is in great condition all around for 127k kms.
Anyways I hooked up a Snap-on diagnostic scanner and found some odd things that I wanted to ask you guys about.
In the scanner under the heading Instrument Panel > Data > Reading of Main Odometer (m): 78 746
^ If this is miles and I convert that to kms it equals 126 729kms.
Under the heading ASSYST PLUS Active Service System > Data > Internal ASSYST Plus Data > Main Odometer Reading (m): 228 648
^ This is what concerns me is this miles or minutes? I took the car for a drive and monitored this and in a 3minute/2km drive the reading went up by 4. So I'm assuming this is a minutes counter. Can anyone confirm this for me?
