Transmission or What?

So I think my transmission is shot. When I put out of my driveway now it doesn't move if I kind of hit the pedal hard....it just stalls out and until the RPM drops it starts moving....I am pretty sure it is a trans problem. Any suggestions?!?!?! I am taking it to a speed shop today to maybe do a dianostic on it if they have the proper equipment.
The dealer can access the ODB II port and tell what type of trouble you are having. To the best of my knowledge only the dealer can read those codes.
Good luck
If the indy shop does not have the latest MB diagnostic equipment/software, they can't read all of the transmission fault codes accurately. Go to the dealer for this problem.

When was the last ATF change? What the code you quote means? You would be surprised what a transmission flush can do. I would not jump to any conclusions or expensive repairs before I am absolutely certain what the problem is.

Now the under $4,000 quote indicates that no main component failure is suspected, so I suspect a basic cleanup, flush and torque or valve body component(s) would be replaced with the ancillary service hardware and fluid.
722.x transmissions apparently intimidate users, and by lack of time in the market some service points. As a vital component of the car, they deserve top notch attention and dedication, but they do not bite back if they are nursed right.
Good luck...

I have a 2005 E55 AMG with 78k miles and now have an issue with my transmission. I slips into neutral and I hear a loud whine when accelerating towards 2,000 rpm and the car will not go above 3,000k rpms. I've been told it was the conductor plate. Did yours ever get resolved?
What does the code in bold mean?
Thanks
