Identifying a part
The part in this picture broke when I was getting out of my car last week. My shoe somehow got under it and snapped it in two.
The picture of the inside of the car shows where it was.
I want to order the part but don't know what it's called. (I know..
)
The worst part is, I was doing some work on the car last year and saw these, with various modifications, online and cannot remember where I was when I saw them. If you can ID the part, please let me know. Thanks!

I believe this is the part you are looking for identification. This is based on my 2007 E350, I am not sure which model you are looking for.

That's it! 
The part number is stamped on the inside, but, searching the web for it gave me nothing at first. Plugging it into the EPC tool brought it right now. Thanks!
BTW, they list it only as "Rail, Front Inside Left"
