I have the tool and the support from them is very good. However, I have two major complaints. First, it does not scan all points easily. You have to scan the points in groups. Second, it will not exercise the brake ABS system allowing me to fully bleed the system. The answer I got was that function is not supported and they seemed to try to put some of the blame for that on MB, which I never understood.

My guess is that the company is worrying about liability if someone doesn't bleed the braking system properly. I have an aftermarket scanner for my other car and it took the vendor over a year to have their lawyers come up with the proper disclaimer statement on the tool!

Regards,
paul...

Perhaps, but the GM tool actuates the ABS. Others may as well. They told me it is just not supported by MB.

I've got it, but mostly use it for data logging on my tuned SL600. I can monitor IATs,
AFRs, timing and boost. I rarely use it on my E500 or c240 but it's always done what I asked it to.

They also sell a Mercedes specific add-on, that will decode most of
the MB error codes, rather than giving just a generic error code.

Thanks for the reply. As for the anti-lock brake bleeding, which computer tool I could use for this purpose?

Thanks

I have not found one. Autoenginuity guy told me only the factory STAR diagnostics, but I cannot confirm.
