Wheel Help

Bought my wife a 350 with sport wheels and as I'm sure most of you know these wheels are a "bear" to clean (brake dust).

What have you found as the best wheel cleaner for brake dust.

Thanks in advance
Jack

Elbow grease or the wife. Tough choice.

P.S.
Also moved to correct forum based on your posted info.

Every week i have to have them clean. It is a pain in the butt brake dust. i am thinking of replacing the pads with Aekbo OEm low dust pads. this will help tremendously,

Yup, welcome to Mercedes dusty wheels! I have a 2009 E350 with Sport...I brake lightly and it still only takes 50 miles. I wash my car at least once a week and set aside half the time to clean wheels ( I clean the inside). The brake pads on mine are Mercedes stamped Jurid pads, I just replaced the back pads with Okebono from europartsamerica.com, best price i could find and they have pictures so I knew what I was getting. I took my pads off the car first to make sure I ordered the correct thing. I've had the back on for 120miles and no dust at all, so pleased I just ordered the fronts. Will be nice to just hose down and do a quick wipe to keep clean for several washes.
Note back brakes actually take longer to replace then front, Torx 50 (I think) has little clearance but with correct tools is easy.
If your wife doesn't care about the inside of the rims just keep the outside clean...sure she'll appreciate it

Everyone using the stock brakes has this problem. I read another post on cleaning your wheels, and it was recommended to use a Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush. This helps tremendously and gets the inside clean. I have also purchased the junior version of this brush.

I also use P21S Wheel Cleaner to clean the rims. This does a great job at breaking down the grime and leaves the rims nice and clean.

When you get them clean, wax them with car wax. Stuff wont stick to them, then.
