Can anyone help on this, My problem is that car went into 'MB specialist' for service including cabin filter replacement, now the AC constantly blows on passenger side windscreen. I an hoping a resync of air conditioning will resolve and I don't need to replace stepper motor (or linkage to flap).

I don't think there is much to be done with the W211 AC without Star. I just had an issue with my AC, and after searching the internet and the service DVD I didn't find anything with much use.
I believe the cabin filter is accessed from the passenger foot well. It's possible the "specialist" purposely or inadvertently disconnected something.
