How to move the coolant reservoir 2007 E350
Trying to change the low beam bulb on my 2007 E350 4Matic Sport. How the heck to I move the coolant tank without ripping the whole clip out? Whats the secret ?
There is a plastic screw on the rearward tab, unscrew it and remove the plastic piece it's in, then just lift up on the reservoir and move it to the side. Even with it out of the way I still had a hard time with my big hands and the fact that the bulb only comes out of the housing enough to turn it around, a couple inches of wire would have been nice.
If you have kids, involve them, little hands have a much easier time. I had to have my son do the passenger side, I couldn't even reach in to get the cover off.

nasdaqer55,
I thought it was a screw, but it just turns in place. If you use a thin flat screw driver, you can pry up on the plastic plug. Remove it completely and then you can move the coolant tank a few inches. I used some twine to hold it in place while I installed my HID lights.
