One side marker brighter than the other
I recently changed the side markers on my E550 from orange to white / clear. Also changed the bulbs to amber so they would light up amber. Now I noticed one side is brighter than the other.
I think it is one of two things. I need new bulbs or (and more likely - I think). Earlier this year I was having some problems with the front markers not working. Dealership (under warranty) ended up replacing one of the bulb housings (which is the brighter one). The other one when I replaced the lens was pretty corroded becase it was clear that water had gotten into the lens housing.
Does the bulb housing need to be replaced or should I just try new bulbs? Anyone have a link to how much the part costs and is it an easy DIY?
