which version is the current navigation map?
I got a letter from MB USA telling me to update the map for only $249. Does anyone know how to check my version, and what the current version is? Thanks very much!

Open panel located on left side of trunk exposing navigation processor then eject disc this will identify database version installed. Current version is v.10 released 11/2010.

Thanks! Do you know if the new version can navigate to the individual house number or still only navigate to a block address? I tried to get to some place last night, it was dark, and impossible to read the house number, I ended up keeping the other person waited for a long time. Hate that! Thanks, again!

I input Hollywood Fl, then Washington Street. I then saw a screen I've never seen before. Before it would let me input the house number a screen popped up that said "Located 5" and center screen was a list of 6, 5 digit numbers. I thought they were addresses, and it took a while for me to figure out that none of them were addresses, but 6 different ZIP CODES! Once I selected the correct zip code, I was returned to the main "enter screen" to press the soft key "House Number" & select from address ranges.
Zip Code guessing indeed. That should be one of the 1st input options, which would eliminate the long pecking in of the city name.

I'd be pretty sure the functionality upgrades are over for our units. They're too old (and discontinued) to waste time on MB programmers for the units. I'm pretty sure all we'll see for the rest of time will be updated Navteq map data.
