Unhappy E500 Engine sound

I've replaced the motor mount -- no more ticking sound from the engine. However, it still sounds like diesel (especially at idle). I can't explain exactly how it sounds like, but it sounds like an old truck (towing trucks). Even my 96' C280 doesn't sound like this. Does anyone recognize?

It's a great car, but these kinda stuffs just make me very disappointed. Plus, the navigation fiasco, rattles,...etc. My previous Lexus (LS) never had any minor and major problems...

I also had the motor mount problem and had them replaced. I also notice a very very slight diesel clicking at idle. It doesn't bother me-- seems normal.

I've also had my motor mounts replaced. No more ticking sound, but my car still vibrates at idle. Anyone else experience the same?

buzzing sound is ok with me, but this diesel clicking sound from the engine is very annoying. It sounds like 1960 Benz at idle. Anyone recognize? I mean, $60k car has noise from the engine? come on man, plus this nav. issue...i'm outta here.

anyone who fixed this problem, please, please let me know.

Just half a day. But some dealers don't have the mounts in stock so it could take a while for them to get them.

I dont understand with MB since everybody is changing their motor mounts including me... How come they don't change it when they build it in their factory? isn't stupid?

guys, pop the hood on any new vehicle they make a rapid ticking noise. This is the fuel injection system.

Engine mounts on my car were replaced yesterday - the improvement is amazing! Sounds like a different car. No more ticking/knocking under acceleration - just a smooth engine growl. Haven't noticed any noise at idling either.
