w211 roof bars?
or "carrier bars" from my understanding of mercedes talk. does anyone have pictures of them installed on a w211 sedan? i'm sure it's been covered before, but i can't find anything relevant (with pictures, at least). oem or aftermarket.

I have them, but have not taken a picture with them on the car. They are nice fit. I use a Thule Cascade 17 with them.

Hey guy, you are welcome, and thanks for the compliment. The Thule Box in the pix is the one I use on the car. I havent purchased any other rack options. Its my understanding that you can use Thule attachments for the AERO bars and they will fit these MB bars. I just converted the old style attachment points on the Thule box to the newer claw type. Much easier. If you are looking to get a set, I shop around I got these at a discount. Do you belong to MBCA? I get 10% discount at Dealer on parts, plus 25% discount from one of the online places for belonging.

Thats correct. Check it out. For 45.00 per year, you get bi monthly STAR Magazine, which is great reading. There are club events based on region www.mbca.org is the website. Local Dealers or shops sometimes have TECH night. etc..
