Bluetooth Puck/Iphone Problem

HI all,

I have a problem with my 08 E350. I was able to pair my Iphone perfectly, as well as transfer all my contacts without any issuse, but when I try to make a call, the person on the other end of the line can't hear me but I can hear them perfectly. I've been searching on Mbzworld and google and can't find out what the probelm is. Is there anybody out there that has this problem and Is there any way to fix it.. Please Help...

I had this odd issue when I first paired my HTC EVO 4G. I ended up deleting the car's BT adapter from the phone and re-pairing and that fixed it.

Make sure you have one of the newer BT modules as well.

Probably a silly suggestion but you could always check the mic toggle button on the phone screen in your COMMAND.

Did you do anything to transfer your address book? I have a Samsung Galaxy S class phone and it pairs well with the Bluetooth adapter and I can see the list of last received calls as well as the last dialed calls but the phone book icon is greyed out. Would be great if I can transfer my phone book to the car.

In the interim I was able to figure out Voice Command to create an address book of frequently dialed numbers and it works fine for a dozen or so commonly used numbers but the entire address book would be really nice.

I really didnt have to do anything for the address book. It sincs in automatically. My iphone has a option to sinc the address book automatically or manually. Hope that helps. I still having problems with the other end not hearing me. I think I have to take it in to a dealer to see whats wrong with it.

Vik888 I see you also have an Evo. As I am considering installing Bluetooth, has the Evo/Sprint experience with Mercedes been good for you?.

Any one with an Android OS phone who has been able to get the phone book to sync via Bluetooth?
