Need Advice after my "D" service on my 03

So i took my 03 in yesterday for the "D" service, the car just turned 70K miles and i'm the original owner. In addtion to the D service i was told that the car had some leaks (or weeping) nothing on the garage floor, both valve cover gaskets and tranny electrical connecton. The D service was around $470 plus the charges for the leaks ended up costing me $1,200 dollars.

I've been using this dealership with all my MBs and have been satisfied with there work, but what bothers me is that in July they performed a xx point inspection prior to my extended warranty expiring, and the car was given a clean bill of health, i put 7K mile on the car since July.

Also, the following was recommeded with the price:

wipers $70
spark plugs $580
fuel filter $680
induction service $190
power steering flush $190
small battery $340

Car has been completely reliable to this point, and the only things replaced to date under the extended warranty were transmission mount, right ball joint, and the heater control valve.

Should i question the Service Manager????

I just had my service D done recently for my 08 e350. It had 40K miles

what they did was:

change the oil-I dont have to change it for a year
change the transmission-I dont have to change it for 2 years
and change the brake fluid
you get a free car wash

Total cost me $740. Does this sound right?

This is my first mercedes so I dont really know if I'm getting rip off or not?

You guys should take the time to learn how to access the FSS on your cars. Each service letter has an in depth description of what service needs to be performed.

My Service D is due in about 1200 miles and its Service 3,9,12,14 which is Combination filter aka dust filter, oil change, brake fluid flush, and inspection.

I am doing the combo filter myself and the rest can be done at a dealer or certified indy for a LOT less than $700

I do know how to access the FSS and what each letter means, i was just wondering if these recommended services is what other folks were experiencing when they had this service done.
