E320 20003 SRS Malfunction

E320 20003 SRS Malfunction
Hey I am in the process of getting rid of my old car. I am planning to fix it up before I sell it. Currently it's showing several malfunctions. The list goes as follows:
-SRS restrain system defective
-License plate lamp left
-Parking lamp left
-Marker front left
-Washer check fluid
The malfunction that I am assuming will cost the most to fix will be the SRS. I am just wondering what should I expect to pay? From doing some quick searches on this forum it seems it's a simple fix.
Also my engine seems to be making a growling/purring sound. The sound can be described as also something out of a small outboard motor for a fishing boat.
So how should I go about prospecting for a fair price in auto repairs? Most German/Mercedes auto repair will not give me a quote over the phone. I reside in the Los Angeles area. Help?
