TPMS problems...please help me.

My TPMS keeps telling me to reactivate it. Before I throw on new sensors, I want to know that the sensors are actually my problem. My car is 2005 MY and has 55K miles.

I scanned the TPM module with my autoenginuity scanner and the codes I got were:

B1015 (9015) Unknown Trouble Code Description
B1170 (9170) Unknown Trouble Code Description
B1261 (9261) Unknown Trouble Code Description

Can anyone tell me what these codes mean?

My is showing the same malfunction and I am dying to get this feature turned off. Could be a bad sensor?

If it's the wheels sensors then I'll buy some, but I'd shoot myself if I spend $200+ in sensors just to have the issue not go away.

Mine went nutzo last winter. Do you have to replace the sensor or do they just need batteries replaced?

My TPMS sensor are a little wacky as well. I filled my front tires to 41 PSI, and the rears to 45 PSI. Yesterday, my reading were quite higher then that. I understand that the air will heat up and expand as the summer temperatures arise. But if I let air out to compensate, I know that sooner or later the TPMS wll warn me, that air pressures are too low. Dam if you do, dam if you don't scenario ;(

Wish I could help, can't find anything relating to those codes, or codes for the TPMS either. All that can be said about them is they are under the "body" category since the first letter is B, if we could find other TPMS codes that might give an idea how they are categorized atleast. MY SL600 is having TPMS issues also, I'm ignoring them until I pick up some new wheels and replace all 4 with the wheels. CarFax reads like the previous owner had several issues with the TPMS also. If there were a way to disable it completely I would....

There is a way to disable, via STAR Diagnosis. The problem is that I don't know anyone near me that can do it.

And where are you? Your side bar information doesn't tell anything.
