Center Channel speaker blown again!!

Second time this has occurred...not sure why since there is a limiter on the sound system anyway. I'm blowing the center channel again...??? Any thoughts?

Someone mentioned just pulling the speaker.... and not replacing it.

I put an email in about 2 weeks ago to OnlineCarStereo dot com and still never heard back, in regards to a replacement, while looking for something which would last longer then stock.

2007 E 550 4Matic
I'm having this same issue. Just recently bought an 07 E 550 4Matic a couple months ago and just last week and I am going to buy a new speaker from MB Online Parts. My question is how difficult it is to install this speaker yourself? Has anyone done this before and can give some advice.

2012 C250 coupe; 2007 E63 AMG (sold)
When I bought my 07 E 63 the center channel speaker sounded blown. Actually, after removing the speaker it was apparent that the Florida sun had caused the speaker cone to separate from the mounting bracket. I simply glued the cone back down and no problems since.

The speaker itself is a wierd 1.5 ohm or something like that. I left it out of the dash while the glue was drying. You could simply leave it out.

Removal is easy. The grill just pulls off with some force. Search the forum; someone has a thread with pictures of how to remove.
