Arrow w211 headlights

i been hearing mixed answers

are 07-09 headlights interchangeable on a 03-06 w211?

some people have been saying yes and some have been saying no, hoping i can get a straight answer from experience possibly.

i have halogens on my 03 320 now, and for the sake of aesthetics i found a pair of 07-09 halogens for 300 shipped that im interested in picking up. i have not been able to find any 07-09 bi-xenons and im impatient so i was just gonna go with the halogens and afer market HID's.

head lamp harness shouldn't matter because i am going after market HID's and those are plug and play on any car so all i should need i proper bulb size correct? soooo... i should be good right???

thanks!

or someone could debt this whole situation and point me towards some available bi-xenons, but the compatibility question still stands

if you wana be on the safe side. buy a set on ebay that are made for your 03-06 eclass. they look exactly like the 07-09. plus they will be new. my two cent.
