2006 e350 dual antenna
please help me
i see that my 2006 e350 has two antennas - one on back glass and another on the roof
i think that mb later must have merged these into one antenna on the roof on 2007 models
i have nav and sat radio
can someone tell me the difference between the two antannas and their functions?

There was never on OE antenna on the roof of '06 and earlier E-class. The Sirius installation called for mounting that antenna on the trunk lid.
Indeed for 2007 the blade antenna moved from the back glass to the roof and became triband, i.e. Sirius, Phone, GPS.
