Replacing side view mirror cover or fixing scratch

So I noticed there is a scratch/scuff mark on my passenger side view mirror outer casing. I am so super careful with my car that it must have been caused by a valet parking the car careless and hitting a pillar or something.

The outer cover is just a piece of molded plastic. Is this something that is cheap to just buy and replace or does it need to be painted? This is very minor but unfortunately it bothers me and I'd like to have it fixed.

I appreciate any options.

I just attached an image of the mirror with the scratched area... I'll try to take a better picture under normal light...

Thanks again for any suggestions on how to fix this...

are you talking about that smudge above the middle of the lens there? That looks like it could be buffed out with some rubbing compound.
