Good Morning,
I have a question about the SBC Pump in my 2003 E320 so I hope that someone can help me. My brake light came on (red) and it said to visit workshop immediately. It went off a few days later but again came on and I had no brakes. (glad I didn't wreck). I cut the car off and cut it back on and the lights were gone. I talked to a friend who used to work for Mercedes and he stated it was the SBC pump and it should be a recall on it. Well I went to Mercedes and they stated it was the SBC pump but it would cost $1108.00 to have it replaced. I stated to them that it was supposed to be a recall on the SBC pump and they told me that it only covers vehicles under 100,000 miles. Is there anything I can do or am I S.O.L??? I need your help!!!
