2008 E350 TELE AID

I have an 2008 E350 and have no interest in renewing my subscription. I take the kids out a lot and they like to push buttons in the car that activates the sos system and the operater will be on sometimes when I get back in the car. Is there anyway I can fully deactivate it permanently so my kids will not be able to activate it anymore? Thank you guys and women very much !!!

Actually that's incorrect, the subscription is cancel, but the SOS will still dial out when the kids push it.

Is there anyway I can just disconnect it myself, without having to pay so ridiculous rate at the dealer ? Thanks

e350 sos light on

Hi guys, i just found a new problem with my 2006 e350 SOS light a few days ago after my wife's car battery drain, and i jumped started with my other car everything is ok except the SOS light and the service light in cup holders just came on for about 10 seconds and off then on again and so on...it does not show any messages in command unit nor the cluster where you check your messages...i did not hear the phone connected to TELEAID customer services i tried to press the SOS button but nothing happened, i just recently bought this car about 5 months ago from carmax and was serviced by mercedes of san diego,CA. for the valve body cover in my transmission at $0 covered by Mercedez, and my car is out of warranty. Does anyone have any suggesstions about the SOS light and service light on? Other people says sos light connected to command unit, but i didn't see any actions on command unit when i tried pressing the SOS light hope to turn it off and also i checked my car to see if anyone hit my bumpers front and back and it set off the switches, but nothing the car is still intact no accident or anything at all.....so it is kindda weird ... i guess you could call them up and tell them i want to cancel my subscription for teleaid and request them to send you a written copy on paper of your cancellation...hope it works out for you. Mine on the other hand is a different story my car doesn't have subscription anymore and the SOS light came on a few days ago trying to figure out what is going on....
