CDC button. Aux-In activated Mode

CDC button. Aux-In activated Mode
My car is w211_2007_ E 200 CDI.
My audio system (Audio 20) doesn't pass to Aux-In acitvate mode when i hold on CDC button.
Differently, my car don't have CD changer. When i bought this car, ex owner removed this devices. Maybe becasue of this doesn't to pass to Aux-In mode.
Do you know somethig about this that it is possible or not to pass to Aux-in active mode if i dont have CD changer device. Because of i can't start Aux-In mode?
