I used to have a 2008 C300 and when you opened the hood, you could continue to raise the hood to a 90 degree angle which was a pretty neat feature I thought. Well now I have a 2008 E350 and when I open the hood and try to raise it that little extra to get it to a 90 degree angle, I am met with resistence. I've tried exerting some force, but do not want to exert too much force and break something.

Does the hood on the E350 go to a 90 degree angle when opened fully or not?
