broken motor mount symptoms
I have 2005 CDI 125k miles. Just had every pices in the front end suspension replaced and I stil get a noise when travling slow over bumps. What are the symptoms of bad motor mounts ?

vibration in the body. Open the hood, start engine and feel the vibration of the engine then feel the body and see if there is much difference. You can also feel vibration when turning. My O6 E320 CDI needed new ones at 80K. It makes a difference. Did both engine mounts and transmission mount.

Vibration, as well feeling excessive "slop" when the engine is revved in neutral at a stop, depending on how bad they are.
Unless you absolutely can not manage to get all of them done at once, I suggest doing the engine & trans mounts all at one time.
