And another q: I see 'sat' & 'nav' on the dash screen but this dealer doesn't know if this had nav-nothing happens when pushed and it's not on the monroney sticker. Was it standard on the e500 or an opiton with just empty buttons?

OK, the stealer said he searched the trunk and found no nav unit-was nav an option or standard of 500s? And if no nav, why would they taunt the owner with nav buttons on the dash screen?

It was an option. All cars with the "COMAND" head units all had the same face/buttons on them because the peripherals were not in the head unit but in the trunk. That way, they could use 1 head unit across all the E's.

2005 e500 4 matic
2005 E 500 oil sensor replacement
Help anyone, I removed all the bolts on the bottom of the oil pan in an attempt to replace the sensor but the bottom will not come off, am I missing a bolt somewhere? Don't want to pry too hard, but this is still on solidly.
