Another round of ICE
Sorry none of the advice here has worked out. At this point, I would make a service appointment at the MB owned dealership in Manhattan to address the mystery.

My problem was a computer. I had to replace it. All I could do is to get 10% discount from a dealer and ended up paying $2,600

What computer was it? The ECM (engine control module) is less than 200.00 online. So please give some details.

Yes, I had to replace ECM. Problem with replacing ECM is that once it is replaced, it has to be programmed. And only dealer can do this. That is why it turned out so pricey.

What I would do at this point, take it to MB and have them run the STAR on it, they will charge you the $97,- but at least you know what is wrong with it and take it to your indy with that information.
