Navigation disk update WTF
Guys, wtf is up here.
So I have the 1/2005 CD in there, I buy a version 9 OEM DVD with the part number ending in 26 65. I also bought the 211 589 whatever "tool" disk for the firmware update.
So, I pop in the 09 CD, and i get the no navigation disk installed screen.
Ah HA, I have an answer for this, the tool disk. I insert that, it updates the software and goes back to the basic screen. great.
Then I insert the 09 disk again, and it doesn't do much for a while. I come back a few minutes later, and it says "wrong version of NAV DVD installed in NAV drive".
Well WTF kids. The disk is OEM, not a copy, and it states on the disk that its for 04-06my S-class.
So after all this, I'm stuck here and have no clue what to do.
any help would be great guys.
thanks.

well, a happy update.
Oddly I got frustrated right before making this post and just left the v9 disk in there and went out for a while. I was on my way home, and for the hell of it, hit the nav button, and low and behold, it works.
Not sure how that worked, but I tried it and it seems to work fine now.
