245/40/17 on 17x8.5 stock sport rims
I have a 2003 E500 Sport with 17x8.5 rims (current and stock tires 245/45/17), and I found several Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on Craigslist sized 245/40/17 for roughly $125 each with plenty of tread (almost new tbh) and in great condition. I was wondering what kind of affects will I be looking at if I were to grab these tires.
My old ones were going bald, and at $125 they're almost 50% what I paid for my 245/45/17 a year or 2 ago.
