Pulled the trigger

Just bough 2008 E350 with 20,000 miles on it....and I am loving it!!! Took me about 3 months to find this red color...that I call burgundy or maroon and with very low miles. Its in showroom condition and those who don't know MB think its brand new inside and out.

Had a small issue: I searched thru the fuse box in the trunk and found the blown fuse I'm guessing is for my "nonworking" rear 12 volt socket. I can't find a diagram for my fuses anywhere. My owner's manual says there is a box on the driver's side/side of dash and to pry it open....I tried to pry it open and stopped because it wouldn't open easily...then moved to the trunk and found that fuse box.

I have searched thru threads and see some say the fuse box is inside when you open the door, its in the trunk, its under the hood, diagram is with the emergency kit. Any help? Is there another one other than the one in trunk and does anyone have a diagram. Thanks all

Congrats on the purchase. Was it CPO? Did you get from private party? It should still be under warranty, I would take it to an MB Dealer and have them resolve issue. There should be a fuse box under trunk floor next to spare tire.

Yes, CPO and even added another year just for comfort. I already replaced the fuse. Auto Zone was right down the street. Thanks much

My 2005 has the fuses under the drivers side of the engine compartment up near the firewall and both the fuses for the lighter and trunk outlets are in there. They are the only ones that have two positions so it should be easy to figure out.

Yeah, its different for mine. I already changed my fuse and it was in the trunk inside the compartment with the navigation. My salesman says he can't keep up with it because they seem to keep moving the compartment.
