parktronic sensor pushed in

I searched the forum and found a single link of an E63 conversion showing the housing. This is on my 2005 E320 CDI... somehow one of the sensors on the front bumper is pushed in causing the proximity alarm to ring non-stop, rendering parktronic useless until I fix this. What would be the shortest path to get at this? I am thinking of finding a suction cup to try and pull it out and seat it. I am expecting the backside of the housing may be broken.

Any ideas?

depending on which sensor it is, may have to take off the bumper. most likey the bracket on the bumper is broken not the sensor

E320 CDI
the strip can be removed to gain access to the sensor brackets.

No. I haven't tried removing the strip - afraid to break it without knowing how to do it; tought imagining without a diagram and hope to not have a lot of reason for a workshop manual at this time. I'm changing the oil tonight - will look at removing some of the under panels.
