You won't be disappointed. The bi-xenons on the E class are the most gorgeous xenons I've ever seen on any production sedan vehicle on the road today. They are as distinguishable as the BMW 7 series xenons, yet are better looking than them. The halogen inner lamps contrast with the bright white/purple(at certain angles) xenons in the larger headlamp housings.
Just sport, luxurious, bright, and powerful. Good job getting them.

Regarding the Appearance Package - I picked up a 2003 E500 last September
that had the Sport Package. It is a good deal if you want it's features but I
really didn't like it. My dislikes were :
The wheels don't appeal to me. I like the standard ones better
The birds eye black trim didn't look good with my charcoal interior
Blue tinted glass isn't my favorite. I prefer the smoked look
The high performance tires are ok but not my preference

I ordered my original E320 back in October and took delivery in Jan, only to learn that I couldn't retrofit the xenons (factory only). I was pissed since my salesman didn't tell me... I also ordered the Nav, so, contrary to my usual luck, I had the opportunity to order xenons on the replacement vehicle. I received the new car two weeks ago, and wow, what a difference! I agree with a previous post, I don't think I would order another car without them. What a difference in visability. Glad to hear you went for it, you won't be sorry.

Xenon's are def worth it, much to the chagrin of other drivers, especially in areas where there are little other Xenon equpped cars. But, after getting used to my car with Xenon's and going to another car without them, it is really like a night and day difference.
And, with the 04's as another advantage, you will be getting the cornering headlamps
. And what a deal when you get the appearance package for almost the same price as the Xenon's alone on the 500.
