I'm a total dumbass, opened door with SBC disconnected
I can't believe I did something this stupid. I've done the pads once up front, as well as a full brake job (rotors, pads and sensors all the way around) and never done something this freaking stupid. I remember reading on this site and another about how it's a big *** no no to open the driver side door with the SBC disconnected. Well.... was checking the front brakes that I replaced maybe 15K miles ago which have been squealing up a freaking storm... was maybe going to replace them. Had one side jacked up, I had already set the emergency brake but thought I'd double check it and press it down a little harder. It was as I put my foot down on that pedal that I had realized my f-up. Anyway, car is now in limp mode.... all the freaking bells are ringing..... telling me what a dumb *** I am... ESP, Pull over, ABS.... visit shop immediately... etc.
Anyway, does anyone know how to reset this w/o me having to call a wrecker in the morning to take the car to the stealership. It's my only car.... and I'm a total moron. Car is 04 E320. I am so pissed at myself right now.
Thanks.

Crisis averted...... looks like my car is smarter than me and eventually figured out there was nothing wrong. On the 3rd start attempt after letting the car set for a half hour, the idiot lights, buzzers and everything else have now cleared themselves.
Whew.....
