Help: 2008 W211 Halogen Headlight Issue
I bought this '08 e350 after a minor fender bender. It was sold by the insurance company after the body shop took it apart, so by the time I got it, it did not have a headlight. All the connections, sockets and wiring did not get damaged as the impact was non-structural to the right side (swipe on the fender and both doors).
I put a brand new aftermarket RH headlight in it, and now the damn thing does not light up. I checked all fuses with a tester (under the hood, but the driver's side dash and in the trunk) and they all seem to be in order. Testing the connector to the light itself, I do not have any power coming.
My left headlight works just fine, it is just the right one that does not. Are they on a common fuse? If yes, then I guess my next step would be to triple check my wiring harness.
Did anyone ever have this problem or know what to do next? I don't think I need to program anything, do I?
