2005 E320
Navigation
Newbie here, I just bought a 2005 E320 and the navigation shows current location about 20 miles off from where I'm at, any ideas what's causing this and how can I fix it? thanks for the help

PS-- I had a 2004 at the time and it happened to me. A software update fixed it at the time. But I do remember when they changed my NAV drive some time later, because everything failed at one time or another on that car, I had to drive around for an hour or so for it to find me.
I would eject the NAV DVD in the trunk, shut down the car for 4 minutes, then & re insert it 1st though. Then go for a drive.

Thank you, the dealer just told me that it might need a new antenna, any ideas where can I get the antenna without paying dealer retail? and how can I do the update? Thanks so much

Its a factory part. So you can querie dealers on line till you get the price you want to pay... But i'd want to be sure it needs a new antenna rather than just cleaning off a connector, or ejecting & re inserting the disk.

Just ignore it
If you are new to W211's, one think you need to know is that the MB navigation system is utter crap inferior to any $80 portable gps you care to compare it to.
You will avoid frustration by simply ignoring it. If you need a gps, pick up any TomTom or Garmin unit with a 4.3" or 5" screen and lifetime maps and you will be light years ahead.
I have a 2003 E320 CDI that I bought in S. Carolina and drove home to Michigan. The MB gps tried to make me drive west to California to get home. I am not making this up. Fortunately, I brought along my competently-designed Garmin 680 and it got me home just fine.
Germans simply do not do electronics well.
