F+R Brake and Rotor Job for 2007 E550
Sorry to post a new thread, but after searching and reading for the past two hours, I didn't really see any write up for the 2007 models. Is there any write up and pictures for the 2007 models without the SBC?
Also I have a few more questions hopefully someone can help me out.
1. How many sensors for the brakes? one Front and one Rear? or One Sensor on each wheels? Are they the same sensors for all four wheels?
2. I am thinking of getting Akebonno for Front and Rear pads, but if I buy OEM rotors will that be ok? or I should get an aftermarket rotors?
3. Besides the Pads, Rotors and wheel sensors, any additional parts I may need to get the job done?
4. What special tools do I need to get the whole job done including the rotors?
5. Do anyone know the torquing spec for the nuts and bolts for both Front and Rear Pads and Rotors?
6. Is it ok if I don't bleed the brake after a complete brake job? or is it better to bleed the brakes? If I do, what tools do I need and what type of brake fluids do I need to buy?
7. Does it matter if I have Sport package or not on the pads and rotors? I can't tell if I have a Sports package or not, everything indicate that I have a sports package, but I don't have the emblem on the side that says "Sport"
Sorry so many questions, but I am hoping someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!

I can offer a small amount of help. I had Akebono EUR series pads installed on our 08 E3504MATIC Sport with the original rotors. Our local indy shop did the work. I checked the rotors to be sure they were smooth and not scored in concentric rings, so the pads would mate well. Performance has been excellent and dust is essentially gone! If you need rotors, I find that tirerack.com only carries good quality parts, so I would choose among the ones they have for likely savings over the MB parts department. They can also be sure you order the correct Akebono pads for your 07.
Our vehicle is also a Sport and has no badging. I believe 18" wheels over the standard 17" and dual exhausts help confirm the identity.

djrabbi Thank you very much for your offer, I have not made up my mind as what rotors to get. Pretty confusing because I wanted to stay as OEM as possible, but my OEM rotors and pads has been noisy since day one and never stopped. so I am leaning toward after market stuff.

Btw, do anyone know how many sensors for the front brakes and how many sensors is in the back? I was told two in the front and one sensor in the back. But I wasn't sure if all the sensor are the same number. Anyone have the MB OEM sensor part number for the 07 E550?

Was considering the R1 premium d/s rotors on Ebay as well. I guess the E320's are a little smaller than the E500's, cuz the best price that I could find for f/r was about $380.
