Looking at a 2006 E350 wagon
Hi all. I'm trying to help my parents replace their beloved 1999 E320 4matic wagon. It's got about 160k on it now and they're ready for a newer one. They are looking at 2006 E350 wagons with about 80k miles on them.
Their 99 wagon has been relatively issue free, and they are hoping for a similar experience with its replacement. Are the 2006 models notably more reliable than the earlier years (04-05)? Are there years or options to avoid? For them, reliability is paramount, though they understand that these cars are complicated and doodads will break from time to time. I just want to avoid any major issues.
