Idk about chassis damage but your compressor took a beating for sure. I've been through it and back. I just recently got the suspension warning so I think its time to do the other side. Your compressor willll still work but you really cut its life short.
Look up arnottindustries for a replacement

Thanks for the info.. I guess once the compressor died I will change it.
Already changed the compressor ~10k miles or so ago from warranty. hopefully that should last a while longer till the car gets traded in.

The compressor will stop working after a few minutes to protect it's self so you did not shorten it's life.
The only damage you will cause is if you hit something from being to low to the ground...other than that I don't see a problem.
