'07 E350 Balance Shaft Problem

Is there any assistance that MBUSA will provide? Or will I have to foot the cost of repair?

I don't think the dealer is going to cover anything because the car doesn't have a strong service history through them.
So I guess there are 2 options, take the loss and sell it or pay the 5,000 or so that it costs to have this repaired.
Can't believe Mercedes would make a junk engine such as this.
You won't get what you don't ask for, that's for sure. Talk to the service manager.

M272 & M273 Engine Class Action http://www.topclassactions.com/lawsu...e-class-action was dismissed http://www.consumerclassactionsmasst...onsumer-fraud/ “when you buy a product under a limited warranty and the product performs for the full life of the warranty, you have no cause of action if it subsequently requires repair.”
