Freshly Tinted - Huper Optik Ceramic - 30
Wanted to share before the light got really bad.. just got back from Sal's Perfect Window Tint out in Santa Ana, CA.
Went for the Huber Optik Ceramic tint.. mostly because I have 4 years of warranty, live in CA and the car for the most part sits outside baking in the sun.. also since the car is black on black little extra help couldn't hurt.
My first impression is its not dark enough.. but gotta give it a few days to settle as well. Otherwise so far so good..
Sal's team is very friendly and did a great job..

Nice, but the true way to tell if they are good is to look at the cuts along the window edges and how close the tint is to the edge as well. Now just wait for tint to dry and enjoy.

Yeah I watched these guys do the edges.. they actually go over and shave it down.. not something I had seen before.. so the edges are razor to the exact edge. As said before on this forum.. Sal and his team do good work.

Any electronic interference, i.e. radio/SAT/bluetooth/nav due to Huber Optik? I had a Lexus GS350 that had Huber Optik tint in which the tint did interfere with radio reception.

Huper Optik should never do that because it has no metal in it. If anyone sold you genuine Huper Optik, and it did that, maybe it wasn't HO.

I always wondered about how aftermarket tint will look with out blue tinted glass, but if you go dark, I guess it doesnt really matter because the darker tint will over power the blue anyways. Tint looks great!!! I just got my front windshield replace due to a unexpected crack. My trusted glass guy didnt have the ppg in stock, but he had a pilkington one which I know MB uses also as OEM so I was ok with it. He showed me how the oem windshied does not have a shadeband, so he show me one with a light grey shadeband and it looks great with the car. I will post pics up if you guys like.

what ????? i thought high end cars five o doesnt go after. I know they were all over me in my Honda Civic Si. My friend had his Audi A6 35% all around no problem for past 9yrs and never stopped. Lives in Tysons Corner too.

Scratches??
Just wondering if you have noticed any scratching on the windows after rolling them up and down? My guy here in KC didn't mention replacing the liner on my 08, but he said they would have to do so on my girlfriend's 08 Acura TL.
