E320 Service Indicator

Hi all, Just a quick question. I have been taking my car to the local mechanic to do oil changes etc.... About 7000 km ago, Service B sign came up of the first time since I have been taking the car to the mechanic. Looked up services required for the Service B and went through most of them with my mechanic. However, the indicator was not reset. After a while the indicator shows "Service B exceeded by some kilometers" and increased day by day... and then the Service code was changed to Service C exceeded by ... to Service D exceeded by and then finally today, it is changed to Service F exceeded 7000 km. Now what should I do? Do I have to take the car to the dealer and ask for Service F??? and pay for 6 hours+ fee? Thank you in advance for your help and advise.

Service F

Thank you for the link. I will test it today. Now the question is that what I should do with Service? Should I bring the car in to the MB dealer and ask for Service B? or C? Why does the indicator advance to F? Thanks.

The third sticky in at the top of this very forum has full instructions to see what particular services are due, and step by step directions to clear the service reminders. I have used them successfully on a couple of occasions, so I can recommend them.
