break failure only in cold weather????

hey guys, i have a 2004 e320 bought used around 5 months ago, the first break failure happened to me in early morning when i was about to go to work, as soon as i started the car, dashboard all red , you know the rest of the story, stop the car immediately blah blah, after 4-5 tries it turned normal and i went to work without any problem ( the weather was under -10 , probably -15 or more at overnight)

and yesterday when i was driving downhill at a speed of 120-125 kmh guess what, red dashboard stop the car, thanks to semi automatic transmission and help fromhandbrake i was able to manage to put the car aside, and again the weather was almost -25 ,

so the brakes are fairly new when i bought it was about %90 , i dont know if this will happen again or is it just cold? if i bring to the dealer what would happen , if anyone else experienced something like this, help much appreciated.

thanks

Sounds like your SBC pump, go to dealer and have them check codes

When was the last brake flush? You could have moisture in the system.

Take some pictures of the warning and document it, take it to the dealer and tell them your SBC is going out. There is an extended warranty for 10 years from the sales date with no mileage limit.

I used my digital camera time dated and took pic of the FSS and presented it to the service mgr showing also the mileage. The problem was clear when they started the car at the dealer and initally they didn't want to take it in. The photo was hard to disprove. Then they started the car to drvie to the back and in the lot the alarm came on again.
