I always thought that for the radar detector to work well it needed to be up high by the rear view mirror. I do like the way it looks where you have it. How does it work there?

STKLAW: I agree, there the rear-detection feature (laser?) is not utilized. Don't know much about RD's yet, but would like to get one that I can mount right above the RearView mirror.
